I have fly fished my whole life. Born and raised in Washington state, I grew up in Lake Forest Park with summers in Lake Wenatchee. I did the football, baseball, church youth group thing. Graduated from Shorecrest high school in ‘78 with the love of my life, but it would take 30 years for the both of us, literally searching the ends of the earth to find each other. We are now in a committed relationship that will last past the expiration of this universe. Our mission will be to grow spiritually as a loving couple with our children and to pass on that love through example to others who may not have the fortune that we have had and to give hope that life is meant for living, loving and having fun.

After high school, I pretty much did the party animal thing with feeble attempts at college. Joined the Army at 21, serving God and country whilst consuming as much 80 proof liquid asshole as possible. I was in Pershing missiles and had a pretty good career pointing nukes at the Communists for eight years. When I got out, most of my life’s choices were starting to get better, but never really exceeded at this until the new millennia. The first major step was starting nursing school after the Army and sobering up. I have been a licensed nurse in the same long-term care facility for eighteen years. I enjoy taking care of America’s grandparents and I am one of the best. I have helped over a thousand pass on to whatever you may believe is there. In that time, there have been tens of thousands of family members that I have helped also. My reward has been a spirituality not many have. This and my other life experiences make me one of the most powerful warriors for truth, love and giving back to others. So I hope to journal my adventures from my past and also my future growth here on the site. I’m thinking it’ll be a blast.
